Stayed Up Later Than I Should Have

 My friend and I are going to SakuraCon this year and want to make an art book to sell there. I decided to sit my butt down and get started! These are some progress shots of what I stayed up way too late last night doing.

I start with a very quick sketch, focusing mostly on proportion.

 Next I refine it a bit more to get a stronger view of the proportions.

 Next is the quick and dirty value study.
