I decided I wanted to add lots of texture to the pieces in this book. I've always drawn very simply since my work is cartoony and I wanted to try something different.
This is a rough digital painting to decide on the color scheme. This one will have earth tones in an analogous color scheme of neutrals, greens and blues.
