I spent most of yesterday on this once piece which is actually just for my KickStarter video.
I thought this was funny.
So my first painting was coming out great but it was taking so long. I attempted to find a faster method, so I tried my usual inking technique since it's so fast.
Added flats.
And realised it looked like crap.
So I returned to my first painting to finish it properly. Progress shot of the hair.
Aaaaand add highlights.
So now this one piece is done. Thanks to this I was able to decide that this is the method I want to use for painting everything and how to go about the process in a smooth manner (first do this, then this, then this).
So much work to do!
